KWPN-NA Announces 2008 Keuring Schedule
(Sutherlin, OR, USA) - The KWPN of North America, the Dutch Warmblood Studbook, has announced its 2008 keuring schedule. Visitors are invited to the keuringen to watch foals, mares, geldings and stallions being inspected by KWPN judges from the Netherlands and North America. Excitement runs high as breeders hope their bloodstock earns the coveted premiums or predicates. In addition to the usual inspections, judging seminars will be held for the first time in conjunction with several of the keuringen.

In addition to Teall, jumper guru John Madden and national young horse dressage coach Scott Hassler are also giving in-depth presentations with demo horses and riders. These exciting interactive workshops are just part of the festivities and educational opportunities available.

Sir Sinclair Sires KWPN Approved Son from First Foal Crop

(Coatesville, PA, USA) - Iron Spring Farm’s Dutch stallion Sir Sinclair has sired a KWPN approved son from his very first foal crop--Wesley. This impressive bay stallion shows great promise as a dressage horse and was one of only four dressage stallions approved in Holland. Bred and owned by Stal Wijdewormer, Wesley is out of Serrita V by Havidoff. Sir Sinclair is also the sire of 18 star mares from his first crop. This is a nearly unheard of record for a young stallion.

Argentinus Named Hannoverian Stallion of the Year 2005 in Germany
(Germany) - The privately owned stallion 'Argentinus' has been named Hannoverian Stallion of the Year 2005. The Argentan/Duden II-son is a first-class breeding stallion with an international reputation well-known beyond Lower Saxony borders. His offspring are not only successful jumpers, but also excellent dressage horses. On behalf of the deceased breeder, his daughter Jutta Hagner was awarded the Wohlklang-statuette and the remunerative cheque. The Uelzener Insurance Company has been honouring valuable breeding stallions since 1992.
